1. Overview

 

Credit Scope provides features related to account registration, identity verification, account review, revolving credit line information, billing, repayment, and account management. This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through the Credit Scope mobile application, its in-app features, and the backend systems used to provide these services.

 

This Privacy Policy explains what information Credit Scope may process, why it is needed, how it may be used, protected, shared, retained, or deleted, and what choices users may have regarding their information. It does not apply to external websites, applications, or services that are not operated or controlled by Credit Scope.

 

By installing, registering for, accessing, or using Credit Scope, users acknowledge that they have read and understood this Privacy Policy. Users who do not agree with this Privacy Policy should discontinue use of the App.

 

2. Information We Process

 

Account and Verification Information

 

When users register, complete KYC, submit account details, or request support, Credit Scope may process information such as:

 

• Full name

• Date of birth

• Mobile number and email address

• Occupation, employment, or income-related information

• Identification document details

• Verification photographs and face verification images

• Bank account information where required

• Application, account-status, billing, and repayment information

• Other information reasonably required for verification, account review, fraud prevention, or compliance

 

Camera and Verification Images

 

Credit Scope may request camera access when the user starts document capture, verification photography, or live face verification.

 

The camera is activated only after the user begins the relevant process. Credit Scope does not activate it automatically, use it without user action, or access it in the background.

 

Credit Scope does not require access to the user’s photo library, media gallery, stored videos, or external storage for camera-based verification.

 

Submitted images may be used for identity verification, KYC, account review, fraud prevention, compliance checks, dispute resolution, and account protection.

 

Approximate Location

 

With the user’s permission, Credit Scope may process approximate location information to confirm regional service availability, support security checks, detect suspicious activity, and prevent unauthorized account use.

 

Credit Scope does not request precise location access, collect precise GPS location, or track user movement in the background.

 

Approximate location is not used for advertising, marketing, behavioral profiling, unrelated personalization, credit approval, credit line determination, interest-rate determination, or pricing.

 

Limited Installed Application Metadata

 

Where permitted by the Android operating system and supported through limited, policy-compliant app visibility methods, Credit Scope may process metadata relating only to specific applications visible to Credit Scope through those methods, including:

 

• Application names

• Package identifiers

• Installation timestamps

• Update timestamps

 

This information is used for device security assessment, fraud prevention, abnormal activity detection, and account protection.

 

Credit Scope does not request or use the QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission.

 

Credit Scope does not open or read content from other applications or access messages, credentials, private files, browsing activity, personal app data, or user activity inside third-party applications.

 

Installed application metadata is not used for advertising, marketing, unrelated profiling, credit approval, credit line determination, interest-rate determination, pricing, or other financial decisions.

 

Device, Network, and Technical Information

 

Credit Scope may process limited technical information, including:

 

• Device model

• Operating system and App version

• Screen resolution

• Network, Wi-Fi, and mobile connection status

• IP address

• Google Advertising ID (AD_ID), where available and permitted

• Limited device or system identifiers provided by Android

• Crash reports, diagnostic information, and performance logs

 

This information is used to maintain service stability, support secure server communication and document uploads, perform analytics and attribution, identify technical problems, detect abnormal activity, prevent fraud, and protect account access.

 

Network and connectivity information is not used to monitor websites visited outside Credit Scope, inspect external browsing activity, or track communications made through other applications.

 

Where available and permitted, the Google Advertising ID may be used for analytics, attribution, security monitoring, and fraud prevention. It is not used for credit profiling, credit approval, credit line determination, interest-rate determination, pricing, targeted advertising, or unrelated behavioral profiling.

 

Credit Scope does not access call logs, record phone calls, read phone numbers, access SMS messages, collect contacts, or process private communication content.

 

3. How Information Is Used

 

Credit Scope may process information to:

 

• Create, verify, and maintain user accounts

• Complete identity verification and KYC

• Conduct eligibility checks and account review

• Provide credit line, billing, repayment, and account-management features

• Confirm regional service availability

• Prevent fraud, misuse, and unauthorized access

• Maintain App stability and security

• Provide customer support and resolve disputes

• Perform analytics, attribution, diagnostics, and performance improvement

• Meet applicable legal, regulatory, security, and compliance requirements

 

Permission-related and technical information is not used for unrelated advertising, marketing, behavioral profiling, or product personalization.

 

4. Information Sharing

 

Credit Scope does not sell, rent, or trade users’ personal information.

 

Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary with:

 

• Identity verification and KYC providers

• Fraud prevention and security providers

• Hosting, storage, infrastructure, and technical providers

• Analytics, attribution, diagnostics, and crash-reporting providers

• Customer-support and operational providers

• Professional advisers where necessary

• Government authorities, regulators, courts, or law-enforcement bodies where required by law or valid legal process

 

Service providers are expected to process information only for authorized purposes and apply appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

 

Information may also be disclosed where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect users or the service, enforce applicable terms, resolve disputes, or defend legal rights.

 

5. Security, Transmission, and Retention

 

Credit Scope applies reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, internal authorization restrictions, system monitoring, and security reviews.

Access to sensitive information is limited to authorized personnel and service providers with a legitimate operational need.

 

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for verification, KYC, account review, credit line management, billing, repayment, fraud prevention, security, technical diagnostics, customer support, dispute resolution, analytics, attribution, or applicable legal and compliance requirements.

 

When information is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymized unless continued retention is necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security investigations, unresolved account obligations, dispute resolution, account protection, or regulatory requirements.

 

No electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

 

6. Account and Data Deletion

 

Users can start an account or data deletion request through the dedicated deletion feature on the Credit Scope website. Requests may also be submitted by email to:

The request should include the registered mobile number or email address so that Credit Scope can locate the account and verify the requester’s identity. Additional information may be requested where reasonably necessary to prevent unauthorized or fraudulent deletion requests.

 

After a valid request is verified, Credit Scope will delete or anonymize associated information that is no longer required within a reasonable period.

 

Deleting an account may permanently remove access to account information, credit line details, billing information, repayment records, and other Credit Scope features.

 

Certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary for:

 

• Legal or regulatory compliance

• KYC or identity-verification recordkeeping

• Fraud prevention and security investigations

• Billing, repayment, or unresolved account obligations

• Dispute handling or legal claims

• Enforcement of applicable agreements

• Account protection or prevention of unauthorized re-registration

• Compliance with lawful government or regulatory requests

 

Information retained for these purposes will not be used for unrelated advertising, marketing, or behavioral profiling. It will be deleted or anonymized when the applicable retention requirement no longer exists.

 

7. User Choices and Rights

 

Users may grant, deny, or withdraw applicable permissions through their device settings.

 

Denying or withdrawing permission may limit identity verification, KYC, document capture, face verification, regional availability checks, security review, fraud prevention, account protection, or related App features.

 

Depending on applicable law, users may request:

 

• Access to eligible personal information

• Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information

• Updates to eligible account information

• Account and data deletion

• Information about Credit Scope’s data-handling practices

 

Withdrawing permission or submitting a deletion request does not affect processing lawfully completed before the withdrawal or request.

 

8. Age Requirement

 

Credit Scope is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old.

 

Credit Scope does not knowingly process personal information from individuals under 18. If such information is identified, reasonable steps will be taken to delete or restrict it, subject to applicable legal, security, and fraud-prevention requirements.

 

9. External Services

 

Credit Scope may use third-party providers for identity verification, KYC, security, hosting, analytics, attribution, diagnostics, customer support, and compliance.

 

External websites, applications, or services not controlled by Credit Scope may follow their own privacy policies. Users should review those policies before using an external service.

 

10. Policy Updates and Contact

 

Credit Scope may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in App functionality, technology, security practices, data handling, or applicable requirements.

 

The latest version will be available within the App or through an appropriate Credit Scope service page.
